On September 28, from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome, a cluster of spacecraft named «Gonets-M» No. 16 was launched using the «Soyuz-2.1b» carrier rocket with the Fregat upper stage. As part of the launch, a cluster of 19 small spacecraft was deployed.

The corresponding communication module is currently being tested onboard the «Norby» satellite, which was launched into orbit in September 2020 as a payload to the «Gonets-M» spacecraft mission.
The nanosatellite "Norby" is an ultra-small space vehicle in a CubeSat 6U format, based on a comprehensive modular satellite platform developed by the joint laboratory of the Department of Aerospace Research at NSU and the Experimental and Design Bureau OKB Fifth Generation.
